With a waste of good taste, The Most Ancient and Illustrious Brotherhood of Our Father Jesus and the Blessed Virgin Sorrows, presented kiss on his name day to its owner Mariana. Were many devotees who came to the parish of San Pablo, to worship and kiss the hand of such a beautiful image, to this day dressed in their finery.
The Holy Image is the work of Francisco Palma Burgos from Malaga, and dates from 1959. It was blessed on 20 March (Good Friday) the same year, and came to replace another image under the same dedication, the work of Amadeo Ruiz Olmos.
